Troxell In response to our unpredictable and cold winters, each year House the Homeless holds its Annual Thermal Underwear Drive. Regular folk from all over the city pitch in with financial contributions, good will, and donations of new thermal underwear. Ten Dollars will buy a top and bottom thermal underwear set. Twenty-five dollars will completely outfit someone in need -- not only thermals, but scarves, socks, gloves, and hats. An added bonus is that your donation is completely deductible. On New Year's Day, Sylvia and Colleen Troxell, volunteers with their families and other supporters of House the Homeless donate their time to collect and give out hot chocolate, cookies and hundreds of sets of thermal underwear. It's a darn good time! Once again distribution will take place New Year's Day at the First Baptist Church of Austin, TX, located at 9th and Trinity. Feliz Navidad.
